Information we collect
Mishnah Tracker is a private, invitation-only learning coordination service. It stores the information participants provide, including names, email addresses, optional mobile numbers, reminder preferences, learning assignments, completion progress, and account-security information.
How information is used
Information is used only to operate the tracker: authenticate accounts, coordinate assignments, display project progress, send requested email or text reminders, maintain security and audit history, and troubleshoot the service.
Mobile information and text-message consent
Mobile information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional use.
Limited information may be processed by service providers such as hosting, email, and text-message delivery providers only as necessary to operate Mishnah Tracker. Those providers do not receive permission to use mobile information or consent for their own marketing.
Text-message frequency varies based on the participant’s selected reminder schedule, number of projects, project activity, and any reminders an administrator sends manually. Message and data rates may apply.
Choices and control
Participants can change reminder settings or turn off text reminders from My reminders. Reply STOP to any Mishnah Tracker text to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not remove a participant from a learning project.
Retention and security
Information is retained while needed for active projects, project history, account access, security, and backups. Mishnah Tracker uses access controls, hashed passwords, signed sessions, and encrypted HTTPS connections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Questions
For privacy or account questions, contact the project administrator who sent your invitation. For text-reminder details, see Text Reminder Information and the Terms.
