Information we collect
Track Mishnah is a private, invitation-only learning coordination service. It stores the information participants provide, including names, email addresses, optional mobile numbers, reminder preferences, learning assignments, completion progress, and account-security information.
How information is used
Information is used only to operate the tracker: authenticate accounts, coordinate assignments, display project progress, send requested email or text reminders, maintain security and audit history, and troubleshoot the service.
Mobile information and text-message consent
Mobile information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional use.
Limited information may be processed by service providers such as hosting, email, and text-message delivery providers only as necessary to operate Track Mishnah. Those providers do not receive permission to use mobile information or consent for their own marketing.
Text-message frequency varies based on the participant’s selected reminder schedule, number of projects, project activity, and any reminders an administrator sends manually. Message and data rates may apply.
Track Mishnah stores inbound and outbound text-message history in a protected inbox available only to the tracker owner. This includes ordinary replies, DONE, LIST, SUMMARY, MINE, FULL, UNDO, CLAIM, RELEASE, EXIT, STOP, START, HELP, automated reminders, and replies generated by the text-message provider. LIST may return authorized personal-assignment details. SUMMARY may return shared progress for an authorized project, MINE may return only the sender's assigned progress, and FULL may return a complete project breakdown packed at whole-Seder boundaries. MINE and FULL may be sent directly after an automatic summary or as standalone commands; when several projects match, the sender chooses from a numbered project list. Guided commands may update completion or self-assignment records, create a hold-release request, or release an authorized hold only after the participant makes and confirms the requested numbered choices. A release request identifies the requester and holder to the holder and project administrators; a completed release notifies the requester and project administrators and may offer the requester a guarded path to claim the newly available masechta. Track Mishnah temporarily stores the current command and choices for up to 30 minutes so the conversation can continue. If new inbound messages are waiting, the tracker owner may receive one daily email summary containing those messages. Text-message providers and the configured email provider process this information only as needed to deliver the service.
Choices and control
Participants can change reminder settings or turn off text reminders from My settings. From a mobile number linked to an active account, reply DONE, LIST, SUMMARY, MINE, FULL, UNDO, CLAIM, or RELEASE to view or manage authorized learning and holds, and EXIT to leave a menu without changes; ambiguous or unknown numbers cannot view or change assignments or holds. Reply STOP to any Track Mishnah text to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of text messages does not remove a participant from a learning project.
Retention and security
Information is retained while needed for active projects, project history, account access, security, and backups. Temporary text-command choice state expires after 30 minutes; completed learning changes and their audit history remain part of the project record. Track Mishnah uses access controls, hashed passwords, signed sessions, and encrypted HTTPS connections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
